Arundel

Arundel

Impossible to define as any one genre, Arundel is a highly creative, entirely unpredictable, and completely unique sounding project based in Brisbane, Australia. Arundell’s history reflects an ongoing diversity and creative prowess. He has performed and recorded with a diverse array of Brisbane bands such as Lost of Love,Gladstone & Lochaber, Hot Liquid Sex and Yolk & Pixel, and has collaborated closely with some of Brisbane’s celebrated rising  song writing talents such as Youka Snell, Madeliene Paige and Kate Jacobson (of Texas Tea).

The subtle hooks and songs of Arundel are infused with beautiful soundscapes, electronic treatments and raw emotive energy.  Inspired by bands like Massive Attack, Bonobo, and soundtrack/orchestral composers such as Jon Brion and Jon Hopkins, Arundel uses an elaborate combination of digitally programmed, traditional and classical instruments, the experience in sound is unbridled, engaging and utterly unique.
