GOLD at Digital Marketing Media Awards

Congratulations to the Canadian Film Centre and the Ad agency "Doug & Serge" for taking the Gold award for Campaigns Under $100,000 at the 2011 Digital Marketing Media Awards. With the message that anyone can upload but few can direct, three filmmakers made three different versions of the popular viral video, "Charlie Bit My Finger". One version, directed by Sammy Ray Welch and scored by Core composers fish-fry music & sound, created a full-on song and dance musical spectacular. The shorts racked up 50,000 views on youTube within the first hour and received over an half-million hits within three weeks.
