Award winning composer Vincent Mai has created music for feature films, documentaries, TV series, video games and advertising. Clients include CBC (Theme for The Early Edition), NFB, FOX, PBS, Knowledge (themes and IDs for the network rebranding), McDonalds, Ford, Electronic Arts, Radical Entertainment, Mattel, Telus, Mazda and many more.
As a trumpeter, he has appeared on hundreds of recordings for TV, feature films, commercials, and albums and worked with numerous high-profile artists including Sarah McLaughlin, Divine Brown, Michael Buble, Tom Jones, David Clayton Thomas, David Foster, Phil Dwyer, Don Thompson, The Temptations, Natalie Cole, Eddie Daniels, Buddy Miles, Robben Ford, Long John Baldry, Danilo Perez, Sheldon Reynolds (of Earth Wind & Fire), and many others.
As a composer, Vincent has multiple nominations for the BC Film Awards (The Leos) with nominations for Best Music in a Feature Film for “Emile” and Best Music in a Documentary for “17 Short Films About Breasts”. His latest nomination was in 2016: Best Score for a Feature at the Action on Film International Film Festival (USA) for “Peelers”.
