YOU'RE KILLING ME - Acorn TV Premiere

In the quaint New England town of Founders’ Cove, a bestselling novelist (Brooke Shields, When Calls the Heart), forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and true crime podcaster (Amalia Williamson, Sullivan’s Crossing), to find the killer of a close friend. As more murders pile up, the pair of amateur sleuths clash with a local police detective (Tom Cavanagh, The Flash).

JULIAN to Head Canada's Line-Up at Annecy.

Big congrats to Toronto's Aircraft Pictures and Ireland's Cartoon Saloon!!! 

As reported in Playback, JULIAN will be heading Canada's line-up at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival this year. Scored by Core composer LA-NAI GABRIEL, and written by Dominican-American writer juliany taveras, Julián is based on U.S. author Jessica Love’s picture book "Julián is a Mermaid". The film follows a seven-year-old boy who, inspired by his grandmother’s storytelling, undertakes a magical mental voyage in which he transforms the streets of Brooklyn into the mystical depths of the sea.l

CROCODILE at Tribeca 2026

Pietra Brettkelly's film CROCODILE will see its USA premiere at The Tribeca Festival June 5, 6, and 8. A huge hit, the film sold out quickly at its world premiere in Berlin earlier this year. 

Scored by Core composer TOM THIRD, the film follows a young Nigerian art collective creating DIY sci-fi films with homemade equipment, documenting their lives while exploring fantastical alternate realities. An energetic celebration of creativity and resourceful storytelling.

THE SANDBOX Premieres at CPH:DOX to Rave Reviews

Kenya-Jade Pinto‘s film THE SANDBOX, which goes inside “a global black box of migration, surveillance and control', premiered in the main competition at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen on March 17 to a 4-star review in Variety. Scored by Core composer ROBBIE TEEHAN, the film takes us inside cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence and its role in surveillance, power politics and border control amid discussions about migration. The film will also screen at HotDocs in April.
