After its premiere at Annecy 2026, Oscar-nominated director Louise Bagnall's JULIÅN will screen at TIFF in Sept. The Luxembourg, Ireland, Canada, Denmark animation was adapted from Jessica Love’s beloved bestselling children’s book, Julián Is a Mermaid  and was produced by Ireland's acclaimed studio Cartoon Saloon. 

Scored by Core composer LA-NAI GABRIEL, Bagnall’s charmingly expressive animation is filled with moments of humour, tenderness, and heartfelt emotional honesty.

AMC+ Mystery Thriller Yaga to Premier at TIFF 2026

YAGA, starring Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams, will have its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. The Crave show, which will be on AMC+ in the U.S., is part of TIFF's Primetime program for TV.. 

Scored by Core composer TREVOR YUILE, the series is based on Kat Sandler’s play, and reimagines the myth of Baba Yaga as a contemporary mystery thriller.
