Ben Fox

Ben Fox is a composer for film & television, guitarist, songwriter, and music producer. In 2015 he was one of three composers to graduate from the Canadian Film Centre's Slaight Music Residency, chaired by Oscar-winning composer Mychael Danna.

As a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for innovative music production, Ben Fox brings a modern sensibility to film, television, and commercial composition. He has scored campaigns for brands like Hugo Boss, and Adidas; contributed songs to television series like 'The Moblees' (CBC), 'The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That' (PBS), and 'The Stanley Dynamic' (YTV); and his work in film has screened across the world at festivals like TIFF, Tribeca, Busan International, Chicago International, HotDocs, and Slamdance, among others.

Recent credits include CBC television series 'Four In The Morning', and feature film 'Suck It Up' (dir. Jordan Canning, Slamdance 2017). Fox’s recent score for 'Never Steady, Never Still' (directed by Kathleen Hepburn, TIFF 2017) garnered him a nomination for Best Original Score at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards.
