Robin Andrew Hughes

Robin has over fifteen years of experience in scoring music for film and television. After playing in several UK post-rock, electronica and synth-pop bands he decided to focus his talents on writing music for the screen. He worked for over ten years in London’s busy film & television community composing for major ad and branding campaigns such as: FIFA WORLD CUP, VOLVO, STELLA ARTOIS, CADBURY, BBC KIDS, VERIZON and UNITED AIRLINES and was an arranger on BBC's factual programme Who Do You Think You Are?. His experience working in commercials was a great training ground for writing and producing music to tight deadlines and in a wide variety of styles and genres.

His compositions have been broadcast on various film and television productions globally and he continues to score projects for the UK and North America. Now based in Vancouver, British Columbia, as a citizen of Canada, he works consistently in film & television for such major networks/streamers & distributors as Hallmark and levelFilm.
