The Lockpicker @ VIFF

The Lockpicker, Randall Okita's observational style coming-of-age film comes to the Vancouver International Film Festival. Likened to Gus Van Sant's adolescent portraits, the film distinguishes itself with dreamlike imagery. Scored by Core composer group MENALON, the film's textural music scape is equally impressionistic.

Neither Okita nor MENALON are strangers to VIFF, this is their 5th collaboration. The composer group also has two short films at the festival, I Am Here and Four Faces of the Moon. Click here for details.
